Hand-drawn. Personal. One of a kind.

Want a custom artwork, just for you? No problem!

Whether it’s a stunning drawing of iconic Tasmanian wildlife for your home—or a heartfelt portrait of your beloved pet—I create detailed, lifelike artworks that celebrate the animals you love.

Each piece is made with care—to capture personality, presence, and lasting connection.

I only take on a few commissions each year, so if you’re curious about how it works, pricing, or timing—just reach out.

Let’s create something special together. I’d love to hear from you.

I’m taking bookings for 2025. If you’re interested, email me!

🎨Booking your commission

1. Get in touch

Send me an email. If I’m booked out, join my mailing list (it doubles as my commission waitlist!) and I’ll let you know when spots open.

2. Lock it in

A 25% secures your booking. Check my pricing guide to see which size suits your needs and budget.

3. Share your photos

We’ll chat about your ideas and the images that best capture your subject. I’m here to help you choose the right ones—especially for pet portraits. Tell me the story behind your favourites!

4. I get drawing

I’ll let you know when it’s your turn, and keep you posted with progress pics (if you’d like!).

5. Shipping

Once you've approved your artwork and paid the balance, I’ll send it your way—unframed, unmounted, and packed with care. Then it’s off to the framer to make it shine!

💸 How much does it cost?

Prices are estimates and will vary depending on what you’d like— think backgrounds, extra subjects, or special details.

Want a ballpark figure before you book? Just ask—I’m happy to help.

What’s included:
✔️ Help picking the perfect photos + layout
✔️ Top-quality, professional materials
✔️ Sneak peeks along the way (if you want!)
✔️ Free unframed shipping within Australia

*These sizes refer to the paper and not the drawing itself. Actual drawing size varies depending on composition and to allow space for mounting and framing.

Larger sizes and paper orientations (e.g. square) available on request.

Frequently Asked Questions

  • Sure do! I love sending my work to fellow wildlife lovers around the world.
Pop me an email with your delivery address, and I’ll give you a shipping estimate.

👉 Just a heads up: you’ll be responsible for any local tax or import fees, so it’s worth checking what your country might charge before we get things rolling.

  • For most unframed pieces:

    • FREE within Australia (yay!)

    • $25 to New Zealand

    • $35 elsewhere internationally

Framed pieces are a bit trickier (hello, glass and couriers), so I charge a flat $150 for framed shipping within Australia. This covers courier shipping and custom packaging to keep your purchase safe. For international framed shipping, I’ll give you a custom quote based on size and location.

🎁 All artwork is packed with care, using recycled or recyclable packaging wherever I can, but always ensuring artwork arrives safely.

Live in Hobart? Local pickup is free!

Shipping is included in the cost of your unframed commission.

Full details are in my shipping policy.

  • Easy peasy.

    • Unframed prints: Buy directly in my shop using AUD on your card.

    • Commissions & framed pieces: You’ll get an invoice with the option to pay by card or bank transfer.

Outside Australia? I can take Wise bank transfers in most currencies—just ask.

✨ Commissions require a 25% deposit to book your spot. The balance is due when it’s ready. I offer payment plans if needed - just email me. No AfterPay/BNPL.

Commission estimates are valid for 60 days. Your deposit is non-refundable, unless you change your mind during the 14-day cooling off period after booking. Check my commission T&Cs for details.

  • Depends on your space, budget, and how many critters you want in the picture!

    Here’s a quick guide:

    • Mini (A5) – great for small birds, not pets (too tiny for detail)

    • Small (A4) – one subject, head and shoulders

    • Medium (A3) – one or two subjects, head and shoulders or full body

    • Large (A2) – up to three subjects, bold and beautiful

✨ Hot tip: once framed, pieces take up more space. Double the unframed size to estimate how much wall area you’ll need.

  • No—but for good reason! Unframed = safer in the post and easier on your budget.

I always recommend professional framing to make your piece shine.
If you're in Hobart, I can point you to great local framers—or even work with them to sort out framing for you.

  • The clearer, the better. Think: bright, detailed, and taken at eye level. Outdoor light works best! And you don’t have to be a pro—photos snapped on your phone’s camera are often totally fine.

If you’re unsure, I’m happy to check your photos before you book.
And if you’re working with photos of a pet that’s passed on, I’ll do my best with what you’ve got—we can use multiple pics if needed.

⚠️ Please only send photos you took yourself, or that you have permission to use. Copyright matters!

For wildlife commissions, I can help you find reference photos.

⚠️Stock photos can come with a licence fee, and some photographers charge a small fee for using their images, which is added to the cost of your commission.

  • Of course! I love helping you bring your ideas to life.

Once you’ve booked your spot, we can:

    • Chat through your vision

    • Choose reference images together

    • Do mock-ups to visualise layout

    • Pause your spot for up to 6 months if you need more time

Not ready to commit? I totally get it—reach out anytime and I’ll guide you through your options (no sketches or mock-ups without a deposit though, sorry!).

Requests for changes to the artwork

Small tweaks? No problem (within reason! More than 2-3 = extra cost)
Big changes or new ideas mid-way? They take more time, cost extra, and may be totally impossible.

✏️ Colour pencil isn’t the easiest to “undo,” so the best time to chat about edits is right at the beginning—when we’re planning your piece.

    Details in my Commissions T&Cs.

  • Short answer: maybe, maybe not. I take time with every piece, and last-minute magic isn’t always possible. Email me with your dates and I’ll see what I can do!

BUT—check out my ready-to-ship prints for quicker options.
Or join my email list so you don’t miss when commission spots open!

  • Absolutely. Just let me know at the time of booking, and I’ll delay sharing it online until the gift has landed safely.

  • I want you to be 100% happy.

If your piece arrives damaged, contact me within 24 hours with photos and I’ll sort it—refund or replacement, depending on what’s possible.

For commissions: because they’re custom-made, I don’t offer refunds for change of mind.
That’s why I involve you throughout—images, progress updates, and final approval before shipping.

  • It’s rare (touch wood!)—but if it does happen, I’ve got you.

Every original is tracked, insured (where possible), and packaged securely.
If something goes wrong, we’ll either replace the artwork (if possible), issue a refund, or send a limited edition print.

Further details are available in my returns policy, here.

  • Glad you asked! These pieces are made to last, but they do need a little TLC:

    • Avoid touching the artwork—clean hands still leave marks

    • Keep it flat in its packaging until framing

    • Don’t unroll prints in reverse (it can damage them!)—just leave them face down (in their protective paper) on a flat surface underneath a couple of books— they’ll flatten out after a day or two.

    • Keep away from direct sunlight, humidity, or extreme temps

    • For longevity, use UV-protective glass when framing

And if you're in Hobart, I can recommend a great local framer 🙌
